Review: Endre by S.T. Bende

Sometimes, finding your destiny means doing the exact opposite of what The Fates have planned.

Winning the heart of an immortal assassin was a dream come true for Kristia Tostenson. Now she’s knee deep in wedding plans, goddess lessons, and stolen kisses. But her decision to become immortal could end in heartbreak -- not only for Kristia, but for the god who loves her. Because while Ull would do anything to protect his bride, even the God of Winter is powerless against the Norse apocalypse. Ragnarok is coming. And the gods aren’t even close to ready.

Thank you to the author for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review!

Love the new cover that you can see up above - isn't it just gorgeous? Ull is amazing and Kristia is super pretty. Plus, I love the fonts!

Onto the review now. I really liked this book. Like, 5 triquetras liked it. I was debating whether or not I wanted to take one away because there were parts when Kristia annoyed me so badly. Talk about a stubborn girl! I know Ull can seem a bit overbearing, but I think she needs to try to understand his point of view a little more instead of trying to prove that she's all grown up. In reality she's still very young compared to Ull, and all the other gods and it's possible that they MIGHT know a little better than her.

So, as you might be able to tell, that was my main issue, but I can't really call it an issue because that's just the way Kristia is. She's a very real character, like all of them are, and because of that she has flaws and quirks. Being super stubborn and thinking she knows best happens to be two of her quirks, I guess.

Besides for Kristia bugging me, this book was amazing. Ull is perfect, Gunnar is perfect, Inga is perfect...it's just perfect. Things moved along at a nice pace, we learned more about crazy Elf Man...sort of...and Kristia has her Bella moment. What do I mean by that? I mean the CHAAAANNNNNGEEEEE, ya know, like Bella in Twilight?

I highly recommend this book, but you might want to start with Elsker first. Better yet, start with Tur so you can see why I sometimes lean towards "Team Gunnar" instead of "Team Ull."

Let me know what you guys think of the series! Do you think Kristia is stubborn or am I just too picky? Comment below!

Aw, thank you so much!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!! I have to agree, Kristia falls firmly in Camp Stubborn. And Ull falls firmly in Camp Bossy. They're definitely a force. ;) Gunnar and Inga find them hysterical. ;)
