Review Policy

Book reviews are OPEN.
All book promo slots - blitzes, reveals, reviews, spotlights, etc will be scheduled at midnight EST. There will be no hierarchal "top posts."

***Important note to all authors and publishers***

I will be sticking to my guidelines from now on. Please no horror, domestic violence or anything on my do not read list.
I have generalized anxiety disorder and CPTSD around these topics and these are triggering for me.
Thank you.
Autumn

These lists are just guidelines. I know not every book can fall neatly into a category. I'm always willing to read a synopsis and choose from there. If I feel that a book isn't my flavor then I may recommend an affiliate blog that would be interested in your book.
If you have a cover reveal, teaser, book blast or any of those types of things you can shoot me an email at sal410cat@gmail.com and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Review Style
I like to go over the covers, since I feel like they're often neglected and they do influence people.
Then I make sure to have a brief summary that doesn't reveal spoilers (sometimes it seems I'm really vague, but I absolutely hate any kind of spoilers!), and then I go over what I liked, didn't like and then who would enjoy the book. Here's a breakdown of my rating system.

One Triquetra - it wasn't a match for my tastes, most often this will be a DNF (did not finish).

Two Triquetras - not horrible, but I still really didn't like the book/product. I'll be sure to go over what I didn't like in the review. I don't like to spread negativity, but I will be honest in a productive manner.

Three Triquetras - so-so, not great, not bad. Something that I would borrow instead of buy, if I could.
Four Triquetras - wow, this book/product was great! If the price were right I'd probably buy it.

Five Triquetras - Amazeballs. I'm going to buy it right now. I will be singing praises.

Giveaways
I'm always willing to host giveaways that you already have set up, or I'm willing to set up my own giveaway if you send me swag/coupons/product.

My Contact Information:
Email is sal410cat@gmail.com. Contact me for mailing address. You can email me for all requests, questions or just to say hi!

Note:
My acceptance of a product or an ARC or copy of your book is NOT a guarantee of a review on the blog, although most of the time I feel morally obligated to write one anyway. My turnaround time is about a month. I hope to get caught up so my turnaround time is shorter than that.

If I severely dislike a book I have the right to not finish it and not write a review for it.

All books I review are my own, borrowed from a friend or library or given to me via author or publisher.
Any books sent to me from an author or publisher for review are just for that; I am not compensated in any way, shape or form.

My reviews are my own opinions and getting free books and products, while awesome, does not sway my opinion.

Links in posts may be affiliate links - which earns me a small commission but adds no extra cost to you.
