The book contains around 40 spells and offers insight into the properties of oils, candles and crystals. Each spell is fun and easy to perform and includes simple instructions. This book is designed to whet the appetite of would-be witches which should allow the reader to continue to build their own positive spells for future use.
Overall a decent spellbook for beginners.
While the love spell section was still a little wobbly on boundaries and ethics for me, I was pleased to note that the author did disclaimer that you cannot force someone to love you with a spell.
*That is highly unethical and violates a person's free will.*
The spells were simple, and the chapters went over the basic categories that most folks are going to be looking into and working with - love, money, homelife, friends and enemies, and then finishes up with some correspondence in the back.
If you're looking for in depth work, this isn't the book for you - these things are very basic, and beginner friendly.
As another reviewer here noted - if you're in the USA be aware that collecting bird feathers isn't a wise idea due to the Bird Migration laws. Don't get yourself into trouble with the law because of a spell when you can find a substitute.
I received a review copy in exchange for an honest review from the publisher -I am assuming the ARC status is why there were typos and grammatical errors. The writing voice of the author is very informal, almost to where it felt as if I were reading several blog posts that had been stitched together, instead of a whole book through a publishing house.
