Title: A Brigit of Ireland Devotional: Sun Among Stars
Author: Mael Brigde
Publisher: Moon Books
Pages: 310

She is the gateway to inspiration, the eternal sparkling flame. A Brigit of Ireland Devotional - Sun Among Stars evokes this much loved Goddess and Saint, drawing on her history, mythology, and traditions, and on the author's intimate bond with her. Thoughtful essays, a daily devotional practice, and extensive resources make it a useful reference as well as an inspiring text.
This devotional has helped me so much, in such a short period of time. Not only do we have poems and prayers, we also have a couple of essays and quite a robust ending "chapter" that lists tons and tons of resources for those who are looking for more information on Brighid, Brigit, Bride, in all Her forms and names.
In the foreword by Orlagh Costello it's written: "I don't see this as a book to be read from cover to cover - although readers may want to do that and soak up the contents in one fell swoop." I have to say that I agree that this has been my experience as well.

This book has such a living, breathing spiritual devotion behind it that you can't help but fall in love with Brighid, through Mael's writing. Here you will encounter ALL of Brighid - and She is widespread in this world. No one True Brigit is written about here, and you can feel this with each new poem that you read.
This book is for lovers of Pagan Goddess Brighid, as well as Christian St. Brigit. All who pick up this book will find something that helps your heart sing and your soul heal. 5/5 Triquetras from this Priestess of Brighid!
Grove of a Goddess (by Mael Brigde)
in the dark and sacred green
oaks enlaced around above
their bark bears the clefts
of Dagda's axe
water spills from your deep source
altar laid with sacrifice
come again the druids to this place
