Third Sentence Thursday #2

Third Sentence Thursday #2

Hello lovely people! Welcome to the second new meme that is going to be going on weekly here at Triquetra Reviews! This meme is hosted by That's What She Read and the rules are simple!

You take whatever book you're reading and share the third sentence on a random page that you flip to. This way readers get to get a little snippet of the book without too much information being given away, which is just the way I like my snippets! Short, sweet, and to the point.

This week I'm reading Nevermore by Kelly Creagh. This is a reread since I'm dying for the third book in the series, so I'm going to go back over this one and the second book.

Here's the third sentence at page 114:

"She'd somehow forgotten that the city didn't keep the park roads lit, and she hoped that if a car came up it would have it's lights on, that she would hear it, and that the driver would see her."

At this point she's running through a park as a shortcut to get home before her parents noticed that she snuck out. Very interesting things will come soon! If you haven't rad this book, then you totally should. It's one of my absolute favorites!
