Re-read this and once again I'm in love.
I seem to be drawn to Sappho's writing like no others. I was assigned this while at Ursinus College in PA, and it's the only book I brought back home to CT because I'm so in love with the writings.
Sappho is gritty, truthful, lyrical. While in my original class that required the book we were encouraged to take notes on the pages and three years later I'm still scribbling right alongside Sappho's words.
Truly amazing.
