Review: Unhinged - Chapter Sampler
Unhinged - Chapter Sampler by A.G. Howard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Super catching!
Loved this even though it was only a sampler, can't wait for the actual book to come out. This is the sampler for the second book in the series and I haven't read the first one - but! This sampler made is to that I'm dying to know what happens in order for things to leave off/why this book starts this way.
On a hunt for book one - can't wait to read it and get to book 2. Great way to hook readers! Plus - this was free on amazon!

Review: Wondrous Strange
Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lovely story!
****MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!****
As a Pagan I enjoy how the gates are named after Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain. Very happy with the authors thinking on that one.
Again, with Herne being in charge of the hunt, since Herne can be considered "The Horned God." Very nice there.
One qualm I have is with Sonny and Kelley's relationship and how quickly it developed. It seems as if they were professing their love out of no where. There was some tension in the beginning, but it also seems as if they went from hating each other, and really, Kelly thinking that he's a stalker, and then they're saying that they love each other.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the way it happened and I still really, really like the relationship. I just think that it didn't progress as smoothly as I would've liked for it to.
I also think that Auberon is a jerk. A really big douche bag in fact.
Oh and speaking of Auberon, I do really like how Auberon is in charge of one realm and Titania is in charge of another. Most tales stick those two together as King and Queen, so it was nice to see a change even though we don't meet Titania or the Lord of Spring in this book - maybe book 2?
Overall good read, decent romance, good suspense and at the end you'll start flipping pages like there's no tomorrow.

Review: Love in the Time of Dragons
Love in the Time of Dragons by Katie MacAlister
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Pretty good.
Sometimes it was damned confusing to be going back and forth between two different time periods, but it was alright nonetheless.
Same humor that you'd expect from Katie MacAlister.

Review: Lover Revealed
Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Butch and Marissa have come a long way in this book. They've been through hardships like none of the other couples have, I think.
You can compare them to Rhage and Mary but at the end of their book Mary's humanity "problem" is solved with help from the Scribe Virgin. With Butch and Marissa there isn't really something like that. Butch has to make hard decisions and Marissa has to learn how to deal with those decisions that he makes.
I was surprised that there wasn't as much focus on Mr. X and the lessers, but I was happy about it. Honestly, the whole lesser thing puts me in a foul mood, and since I'm a romantic at heart, I like to read about the love relationships.
Overall a great read, this fourth book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood kept me on the edge of my seat and is making salivate over the thought of book 5, which I must wait for since my mother is busy reading it.

My Review of Dragon's Egg
Originally submitted at LUSH USA
: As you bathe in the whirlpool of vibrant, fiery colour and inhale the refreshing sherbet scent of lemon and bergamot, you'll feel like you're up and away on the back of your own dragon. Citrus oils are known for their invigorating effect on the mind, and Dragon's Egg is no exception! ...
Best. Bomb. Ever.
When you survey your stash, you label this product: Guilty Pleasure
Pros: Mystical, Magical, Softening, fun
Best Uses: Bath
Was this a gift?: No
This was my second bath bomb after I used Butterball. Butterball is a nice, calm little thing. Dragon's Egg was big and flamboyant and I adore it. I love the glitter and when the center starts to fizz it's like a baby Dragon is born and it's soaring through the glittery night skies (if you want to get poetic with it.) I love this one! Will definitely buy again.

My Review of Butterball
Originally submitted at LUSH USA
There are so many things to love about Butterball, but let's start with the fragrance. The mixture of warming vanilla musk and ylang ylang is divine; it stays with you long after you leave the bath. We add slivers of cocoa butter that melt into the hot water and soften your skin. You'll be ...
Staple.
When you survey your stash, you label this product: Cult Classic
Pros: Relaxing, Affordable, Lasting Effect, Softens Skin
Best Uses: Bath
Describe Yourself: Normal Skin
I love this bath bomb and I always buy more than one when I get them. It was my first one to try because they are slightly cheaper than the others, but just because it's smaller and cheaper doesn't mean that it doesn't pack a punch! This thing is amazing and leaves me super soft and I feel so sexy!
It's a staple in my collection and I would go crazy without it.

My Review of Twilight
Originally submitted at LUSH USA
That moment when the sun starts setting into the night sky, painting it with vibrant hues of orange and purple before being peppered with sparkling stars, is a wonder that we pause to admire with those we love. Recreate twilight in your bath water with clouds of lavender, ylang ylang and ovaltine t...
Delicious!
When you survey your stash, you label this product: Must-Have
Pros: Relaxing, Smells Great, Magical, Softens Skin
Best Uses: Bath
Describe Yourself: Normal Skin
This product was amazing! I was in Lush a few days ago, and the guys there had mentioned that this one had glitter (which I adore in a bath bomb - makes it extra special.) I had mentioned that I liked Dragon Egg and they suggested this. I went home and tried it right away. It fizzles nicely and I loved how it turned my water lavender, since that's my favorite color. There is a smoky froth that floats throughout the bath with smatterings of glitter. It was so magical, and I felt that I could stare into the water forever.
Wonderful to sit back in, relax, unwind and let your mind let go of the hard day you've had.

Review: The Goddess is in the Details: Wisdom for the Everyday Witch
The Goddess is in the Details: Wisdom for the Everyday Witch by Deborah Blake
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Good book, a lot of things in here I already had a grasp on, but I did learn some new things. I liked how there were "Things to Think About" and "Things to Try" at the end of most chapters. Gave me something to use in order to reflect on the chapters and the information presented.

Review: Lover Awakened
Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
If I could give this book 10 stars I would. Zsadist had my heart from the other books, but in this one all my emotions were tapped into. J.R. Ward is one helluva writer and she knows how to keep the readers turning pages. The quick scene changes from the lesser's story to Zsadist and Bella had me reading this in a day.
Zsadist and Phury make leeway and the other plot twists involving Tohr are killers.
I will be honest. This book made me cry. A lot. And scream, and laugh a little too. Mostly it made me desperate to read the other books in the series.
10 stars indeed.
